Meet Karina.

Karina Izaguirre is Vice President of People at Pref-Tech, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading people strategy across complex, high-growth organizations in both U.S. and global markets. Her background spans operationally intensive industries including manufacturing, oilfield services, power generation, and rental services, where aligned people strategy is critical to performance at scale.

Karina is known for translating business strategy into practical, scalable people solutions that strengthen organizational performance and support sustained growth. She has built and led enterprise HR functions across all major disciplines, partnering closely with executive leadership to align workforce strategy with business objectives, operational demands, and long-term vision.

At Pref-Tech, Karina plays a key role in shaping a people-first culture that supports accountability, performance, and continued growth. Her leadership focuses on creating clarity, developing teams, and building systems that enable the organization to scale without losing its core values.

Karina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and is a certified change management practitioner. She lives in Fulshear, Texas with her husband of 26 years, is a proud mother of three adult children, and enjoys leading a women’s mentorship group, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
