About the Community Service Committee

Founded on November 9, 2023, the Pref-Tech Community Service Committee’s purpose is to give back to the communities whom have given us so much both personally and professionally. Those who choose to serve on this Committee and/or participate in any of the activities have done so because their heart is to serve those in our communities who need our help the most. The foundation of this team is based upon our core values as a company. The individuals that make up this team believe their heart is to serve a purpose greater than their own. Every individual who has and will join this committee has a heart to serve and a calling to be a part of something much bigger than themselves and to strengthen the communities around them.

At its very core, the members of the Community Service Committee agreed that the main focus of this group would be to serve the basic human needs within our communities – food, water, shelter, etc. In everything we do, this guiding principle is our northern star to provide focus with the intent to allow for flexibility in our decision making while holding true to our charter and purpose. Where possible, our further intent is to work alongside our existing customers and aid the charitable events and foundations that they also already serve. The intent behind this is to utilize existing relationships within the community of our customers, while also beginning to better serve our customers and do so in a way that goes far beyond the day-to-day services that we already provide them. We know that this approach will not only benefit our clients and the communities that they serve, but also allow Pref-Tech to build stronger and deeper relationships with our customers, their constituents, and the surrounding communities as a whole.
